The “key terms” for our Daily Qualifiers List are explained below - any questions just drop us an e-mail!
ℹ️ Star Rating, Form / Season Stats, O2.5 Recent H2H, Match Forecast, Goals Guru Scorecast & Our Pick:
- Star Rating - Each fixture is given a Star Rating of 1-5 stars to indicate the strength of the selection - with 1 star being the weakest and 5 stars the strongest goals indicator.
- O2.5 Form Rating - Over 2.5 Goals strike rate for the last 5 home matches played by the home team + Over 2.5 Goals strike rate for the last 5 away matches played by the away team.
- Home Last 5 GPG - Goals Per Game average for the last 5 matches played by the home team.
- Away Last 5 GPG - Goals Per Game average for the last 5 matches played by the away team.
- Combined Last 5 GPG - Average of Home Form GPG + Away Form GPG.
- FHG Form Rating - FHG strike rate for the last 5 home matches played by the home team + FHG strike rate for the last 5 away matches played by the away team.
- SHG Form Rating - SHG strike rate for the last 5 home matches played by the home team + SHG strike rate for the last 5 away matches played by the away team.
- Home Scored GPG - Average Goals Per Game Scored by the home team across all of their home fixtures played this season.
- Home Conceded GPG - Average Goals Per Game Conceded by the home team across all of their home fixtures played this season.
- Home Match GPG - Average Total Goals Per Game across all of the home fixtures played by the hosts this season.
- Away Scored GPG - Average Goals Per Game Scored by the away team across all of their away fixtures played this season.
- Away Conceded GPG - Average Goals Per Game Conceded by the away team across all of their away fixtures played this season.
- Away Match GPG - Average Total Goals Per Game across all of the away fixtures played by the visitors this season.
- O2.5 Recent H2H - A green tick (✅) indicates that a very high percentage of recent league meetings between the two teams have cleared Over 2.5 Goals. A red cross (❌) signals that the majority of recent league meetings have finished on Under 2.5 Goals scorelines. If tagged as “Neutral” then the recent H2H is a mixed bag with no obvious trend. “No Data” means this is either the first ever meeting between the two teams or they have not played against each other for at least the last three seasons in league competition. Our team only class H2H league data from the last 2-3 years as relevant because management teams and playing staff change on a regular basis.
- Predicted Home Goals - Number of goals the home team is predicted to score in this fixture based on our stats model.
- Predicted Away Goals - Number of goals the away team is predicted to score in this fixture based on our stats model.
- Predicted Total Goals - Predicted Home Goals + Predicted Away Goals.
- Goals Guru Scorecast - Our data-driven prediction of the most likely final scoreline, calculated using the season data from both teams. Our score prediction model has a high strike rate for being "in the ballpark" when it comes to full-time results although we don't advise bettors to back exact scorelines - our Scorecast should simply be used as a guide when betting in the goal markets as exact scorelines are extremely difficult to predict.
- Our Pick - After assessing all the key statistics on the Qualifier Card, we predict whether we expect the selection to surpass the Over 1.5 Goals or Over 2.5 Goals markets.
⚠️ NOTE: Our "Goals Guru Scorecast" considers the Form Stats, Season Stats, O2.5 Recent H2H and Match Forecast data as a whole to arrive at what we consider to be the most likely final scoreline for each fixture.
ℹ️ Suggested Markets & Best Odds:
- O1.5 - Over 1.5 Goals.
- O2.5 - Over 2.5 Goals.
- BTTS - Both Teams To Score.
- FHG - 1+ goals in the 1st half.
- FHG+ - 2+ goals in the 1st half.
- SHG - 1+ goals in the 2nd half.
- SHG+ - 2+ goals in the 2nd half.
⚠️ NOTE: All “Suggested Markets” ticks have passed through our bespoke filters based on extensive goal stats from full season data. We also list the best available prices for each of the seven markets above - although we do advise bettors to cross-reference with our ✅ / ❌ system before deciding which market(s) to select. Best Odds are available in either fractional or decimal format - you can switch between both options via a toggle on the Daily Qualifiers page, or set your "Preferred Odds" in the "Profile" tab.
ℹ️ Attack Strengths (coloured indicator to the left of the home team):
- 🟢 Elite - Average GPG Scored for one team is 2.00+, while their opponents have an Average GPG Scored of 1.50+ (both teams are prolific scorers).
- 🟡 Strong - Average GPG Scored for one team is 2.00+, while their opponents have an Average GPG Scored of 1.00-1.49 (one team is prolific, while the other is also capable of contributing to the final scoreline).
- 🔵 Standard - Both teams have an Average GPG Scored of 1.00-1.99 (neither team can be classed as heavy scorers, but goals are still expected based on our stats model).
⚠️ NOTE: All qualifiers are from league matches only. In addition, no fixture will ever be listed as a qualifier if either team is averaging less than 1.00 goals scored per game.
